New Year Sales 2016

Magic Millions 2016

Dermot bought for a number of his usual clients as well as some new.

He started by paying $250k for Lot 23 a filly by All Too Hard out of Annamarie for Gilgai Farm owner Rick Jamieson, who bred All Too Hard and his exceptional half-sister Black Caviar out of the Desert Sun mare Helsinge.

Dermot was quoted in the Racingpost bloodstock pages:

“Rick is obviously very keen to support All Too Hard,” said Farrington. “The horse means equally as much to him as Black Caviar. This filly was a real good mover and reminded us of All Too Hard at a similar age. There are no plans for her at the moment, but let’s hope she’s lucky. She also has a great pedigree, which is a bonus for the future.”

The filly shares her page with a host of top performers, including Group 1 winners Epaulette and Helmet.

A son of Casino Prince, All Too Hard was a Group 2-winning juvenile before developing into an exceptional three-year-old, scoring in four races at the highest level, including the Caulfield Guineas, in which he defeated Pierro.
